Apparently Monoprice, the place that makes $2 HDMI cables, also makes tablets. I've always owned a Wacom (and broken many!), so it's hard to fathom using another tablet. However, traveling with an expensive tablet sucks, so when I heard about these $50 Monoprice tablets this morning, I was intrigued. Apparently... get this.. they're actually good. Not only that, but they're as good as a Wacom tablet. I'm sold. Buying one now.
I used a Monoprice, had all kinds of problems with it, the battery in the pen would get supper hot, and the pen broke, it was so poorly constructed. I'll stick to Wacom.
oh wow. i ended up giving my monoprice one to my sister because the mac driver looked like a pain in the ass. haven't heard complaints but im not sure how much she actually uses it
Yeah, maybe it was just mine, could have been faulty. But yeah, had so many problems with it. I'm just glad I got a wacom, haven't had those problems at all.
ive had every tablet in the intuos line at some point or another. TSA broke two of my tablets so i'm now on their medium sized travel friendly wireless one, which I am happiest with.
By the way, if you're interested in a Wacom tablet, here's somebody on DA who's willingto sell their for 60$! Check this out in the forum, scroll down to her 2nd or 3rd post [link]
so, how do you like that tablet? Was it worth buying? Was it better than the Wacom one, or just.. different? I kept your journal in my inbox cause I wanted to ehar back about this. I've never drawn digital but would love to try it. Only I wouldn't pay a lot of money for it, cause who knows, I might not like it, or totally suck at it
